The George Foster comment is a soundbite and nothing more.

The National League lurches from one farce to another. There is no longer relegation to step 2 or promotion to step 1, though there is promotion to the EFL.

So why should the likes of Dover put any effort or capital expenditure in, to field a competitive side against those that are pushing for promotion? They can save what little cash they have, furlough all but the bare bones for next season whilst the more promotion orientated have a real good go.

This totally skews the league, the competition and the sporting integrity of the the pyramid system. If the FA had anything about them they would step in. But they haven’t.

The likes of Chesterfield, with their honest and sporting ethos approach to this season, will take full advantage.

If it has to be either of them, you know the pair of teams I refer to, please make it County.

HMRC are recruiting another 1,000 criminal investigators to deal with the fraudulent use & abuse of the furlough scheme.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

I've said it earlier to them, it would be a total embarrassment if they didn't make at least the play offs this season.
It's annoying me that they might get promoted because of other teams not giving them a competitive game.

It's just all wrong.

What a messed up league the National League is this season. No relegation, one team packed up, others furloughed their senior players, some just playing their youth team. Some teams will get loans others won't. Promotion to the EFL is just a lottery this season. As a lot will depend on who you play at that particular stage of the season and what financal grants/loans you are allowed

Lambing season, they are all either legally busy on their farms or illegally having a ‘good time’ on their farms.

Their manager said he picked the wrong players for yesterday's game. Does that mean some more will be furloughed ? :D

Good honest interview, seems like a good lad, certainly better than some of the idiots they have had previously.
