That made some of Coughlans performances look special.

Tonight was a bad performance, but I think you're over reacting just a bit with that comment.. We won't go down.

Absolutely gutless, letting the game pass them by, no imagination at all, let’s keep picking the same players week in week out no matter how many mistakes they make, absolute joke.

Their goal was embarrassing, we were their biggest threat tonight.

Also start flipping Sinclair, at least he shows some flipping composure.

We won’t go down for gods sake, agree with you over reacting.

We didn’t look like winning before that run and we did, also look at other sides, colchester’s run for instance.

It was pretty dire though

I'm not one who likes to criticise but that was woeful, from front to back and including Stone who's kicking was just abysmal.

I don't think Perch found a Mansfield player from a single one of his 150 throw ins and the 2 central defenders who looked unflappable have suddenly turned into schoolboys. Sweeney is back to giving away stupid fouls every 2 minutes.

Law didn't take his chance.

Struggling to find anything even semi positive to say about that.

Harrogate are a horrible side to play against but we were just terrible all over the park.

Wins for Barrow and Grimsby mean we are in a serious relegation scrap. The squad looks knackered and threadbare. Losing Maynard, Cook, Smith, Menayese and effectively Lapslie and replacing them with an unfit Quinn and Sarkic is proving to be very costly.

Can’t see where the next win is coming from.

Benning best player of a terrible bunch . Regardless of Cloughs aim this season , he needs to make changes . Reid has to now come out the side and give Sinclair or Sarcic a chance . Law did nothing . Defence confidence is shot . Perch was awful . This side could still go down . Easily .

Apart from borrowing Pilko's boots Stone was better tonight.

The two centre back tonight, I have no words, beyond abysmal.

Full backs m'eh.

Midfield created nothimg.

Bowery won a few flick ons.

Reid, might as well have been sat on the couch with me.

Dreadful team performance.

Last 10 games.

WWWWW (3 week break) DDLLL.

What the actual eff happened? It's not just the results that are bad, but the form and performance level has been awful.

Good lad Norm.

I can safely relax now in the certain knowledge that we are about to go on another unbeaten run.

What gets me, is the idea that some people have, that Clough is going to throw a switch and somehow we are going to be promotion contenders. Two, maybe three players you could keep from this team at most. We almost need to sign a complete first team again.

Disappointed on two fronts. The performance was one aspect, but also Clough’s refusal to make more changes. After Saturday I thought he’d do more, but instead we roll out an almost identical 11 (except Law for Quinn) and press repeat on the performance button.

I struggle to understand Stone in goal, I don’t get McLaughan instead of Benning, Charsley appears devoid of energy and confidence, and the Read/Bowery combo is going nowhere.

We were awful tonight.

I think he is stubborn, I thought he was stubborn in the transfer window and is stubborn with his selections.

Go and sign some free agents, freshen this squad up. He should never of let Cook go.

No doubt we went toe to toe with a mid table team, and were just lacking in the final 3rd...

The worrying thing for me was that we appeared to keep getting in each other’s way.

They didn’t seem to know who was supposed to be doing what and as a result we had a bunch of decapitated chickens with no apparent plan. It was nothing short of hoof and a lot of those hoofs were just up in the air or back towards our goal. We couldn’t even blame the pitch which was miles better than ours and held up reasonably well.

I’m not sure how Nigel is going to put that side back together especially with a threadbare squad but he needs to do something pdq.

Back to looking down rather than up.
