I would not describe Robinson as quick. Looking at the goals Robinson scored for Col U, he seems to be a fox in the box type of player where you have to get the ball to his feet in the area. He seemed to score a lot of his goals running into the 6 yard box to get on the end of crosses. He does not look the type of player who will do a lot of running for the team.

Port Vale fans are not impressed with Robinson with one describing him as worse than Kyle Perry. Col U fans loved him with 11 goals in 19(9) league starts last season.

We need a mobile forward who can run and chase and who is strong in the air so he can get on the end of all the crosses that the likes of Gordon, Charsley, Benning, McLaughlin etc put in the box.

I think Crawley have done the right thing cashing in. An incredible run of form and he might be the real deal but they’ve pocketed a lot of money based on a good half season.

"Bolton have brought in Huddersfield Town defender Ben Jackson and Lincoln City winger Zack Elbouzedi on loan until the end of the season. Stockport-born Jackson, 19, is a predominantly left-sided defender and has made three appearances for the Terriers this term. Republic of Ireland under-21 international Elbouzedi, 22, joined the Imps from Waterford last January. He has played six times this season for his parent club, scoring twice."

Both players started against Cheltenham Town. Ben Jackson played left back and Zack Elbouzedi played left midfield.

Port Vale have de-registered Theo Robinson and Harry McKirdy from their squad lists for salary cap purposes to make way for new signings, Jake Taylor and Kurtis Guthrie. Clubs can only have 22 over 21 players in their squad and Port Vale had reached this limit.
