Will ‘Resurrected Threads’ be the new ‘Expected Goals’?? I hope not. I really, really hope not.

I am with you on this, football moves on and after a certain amount of time threads lose traction and become old news. Very few even warrant historical merit unless someone is nit picking for the sake of an argument..........I wonder if that happens on Stagsnet?

A way around this ‘problem’ is for moderators to lock the posts after a certain amount of time so replies can’t be posted.

I think we need a gazza poll to decide.

We could, but another solution is to split the thread back out. Create a new thread relevant to today. So for example. "Newport sign Jack Evans on loan" TTF posted enough info for people to realise its a former loanee.

Or just put in the transfer thread like the rest and mentioned “former stags loanee”

I prefer single threads instead of multiple threads about the same topic. It's also sometimes interesting to read comments that have been made previously.

You can easily have a single thread for each player. The Jordan Bowery thread would have been interesting reading as the season has progressed.
