Yes, Jake Garner did. He said we’re in discussions/negotiations with 2-3 players. Recent results haven’t effected need to improve and develop the squad.

The cynical amongst us would say Maynard and Gordon.

My guess is fringe players who can't get in but on good wages and/or heading towards the ends of their careers.

So I think Clough said 2 or 3 out and 3 or 4 in meaning there is a little room to manoeuvre. My guess is recall Knowles, but only if Cook and Maynard can be moved on and he's in talks with a striker.
