It's easy to forget how uncertain the return to football was especially at lower levels. In hindsight it does seem daft however you have to consider that at the beginning the intention was to resume playing last season so we couldn't just rip the pitch up in case we needed to play again at short notice.
A lesson learnt I think and we just have to try and do the best we can for the rest of the season.

I think some need to give a bit of slack. Strange times and the large amounts of rainfall hasn't helped. Just look at you lawns. I'm considering growing rice in my allotment rather than the usual potatoes

Ah! That explains why Johnno has defended Mez! Look at Scunny pitch that is miles better than us! That suits Mansfield to play on that excellent pitch comfortably. That’s my opinion, how dare you, Andy J.

Shoddy when you consider the amount of snow we've had really, naff all and is clearing quite quickly.
Either tactical reasons behind it or we're trying not to damage the pitch further.
Mez has had a shocker for whatever reason this season

Covers do very little against snow and rain.... Snow/water just sits on top and then has nowhere to go until you pull them off and it goes onto the pitch anyway.
Im sure covers main thing is for frost?
Isn't there usually an interview with mez when its called off

From what Mez has said on the official site, it would appear there may be a problem with the drains. If that is the case, I fail to see how he can be blamed unless your expect him to get his rods out (drain rods, get your minds out of the gutter).
