I won a little bit of money on their loss but it was 70/1 on Ladbrokes for the Cheats to lose with a minute to go before normal time ended.

Their fans over on Bob (is) Bored seem to be quite taken with him.

Bit of a come down from Cook, Cowleys or Alexander though.

Rowe was under contract at Gloucester City, so may cost them a bit of compensation. Maybe NEDDC will lend them a few quid ?

I think a manger isn't the root of their problems and cant see this guy having any impact. He will need to be one hell of a manager to save them

It's because the National League is very southern biased and the 44 teams have to be split equally.
The furthest north teams in the NL South are Oxford City, St Albans, and Hemel Hempstead.
As Gloucester is very slightly north of them, they got the short straw !!

Gloucester have been playing at Evesham in past seasons, and like playing in North, as it is easier to travel to Manchester than London and Kent.

I attended the Conference AGM at Celtic Manor in Newport in 2011. The Committee read out the list of teams for Conference Premier, Conference North and Conference South.......as is tradition. The name of Rushden & Diamonds was not read out and Bishop Stortford were moved to Conference North. They were going mental.

Gloucester City were already in Conference North by then and were shortly afterwards joined by Oxford City, Histon and Lowestoft Town. Bishop Stortford ended up finishing 10th.

Steve Evans picked up the award for Manager of the Year.

Agent foster, if you choose to accept your mission, you know what to do. Good luck and God speed.

Back in the day, the old Third Division was regionalised: North/South. We played some seasons in Div 3 South, but more regularly in Div 3 North.

Might work for them.

Similar to when we appointed Paul Cox, which turned out well.

The wierdest one was during the years that Forest spent in L1. In the EFL Trophy, or whatever it was called back then, they wanted to have an even split of L1 and L2 teams in each region so they Leagues were split separately.
This meant that Forest (south of the Trent) were in the Northern section of the draw as a L1 club, and County (north of the Trent) were in the Southern section of the draw as a L2 club.
