The problem with this is that Stech will have to make a bad mistake costing a goal which we don't want obviously.Stone has impressed me.He looks very confident and his distribution is excellent.Being a second choice is difficult he just has to be patient.

He should be familiar with conceding 5 then

If we are going to turn anyone over this season please let it be tomorrow. I've watched Harrogate quite a few times over recent years as I'm surrounded by friends who are life-long supporters and others who have more recently jumped on the bandwagon. Friendly banter is one thing but this growing belief they will finish above us in the league is irritating!

For a league team they lack height in some key positions and my guess is out of the team that started at Orient on Saturday five, maybe six players, were 5ft 9" or below. To compensate, I agree they can be quick and tidy. However, over the season, whilst i think (and hope) they'll be OK, I'm pretty certain they'll be found out a few times.

So, tomorrow, Heart says 5.1 (Bowery, Maynard 2 Rawson Charsley). Stead (off the bench, late in the second half)

Head says 2. 0 ( Bowery, Rawson)

Harrogate will be a tough team to play against and can cause problems for most teams on their day. They like to come fast out of the traps and play at a high temp and try and run all over the opposition. They are particularly strong down the right and Ryan Fallowfield, Josh Falkingham, George Thompson and Jack Muldoon work the ball well down that side. If you are playing Harrogate you need to try and shut off that side and force them down the left. Mel Benning and Stephen McLoughlin could be in for a tough night.

Josh Falkingham and Lloyd Kerry in centre midfield never stop running. Falkingham is a pocket dynamo and I'm surprised nobody took a chance on him and signed him to play in the EFL earlier in his career. He's a Leeds lad who started off at Leeds United and then moved to Scotland to play for Arbroath and Dunfirmiline before moving to Darlo in 2016 and Harrogate in 2017.

Harrogate are not afraid to take a few chances at the back which means they do sometimes leave themselves open for a quick counter attack.

I fancied them for the play offs after they beat Bradford City and Grimsby away. They were also the better team away at Col U but lost. They have since stuttered a bit. There are no easy games in League 2 but the Stags need to start picking up wins.

It must be hard being a York City fan at the moment with Harrogate in the EFL and York in National League North.

The 5 subs rule is concerning me.
We need a 2 goal cushion going into the last 10 mins, they would have nothing to lose and 3 fast players could cause problems.
How you protect against it happening is upto Clough, do you play deeper to stop the balls over the top or bring on new legs to counter the attacks or just carry on the same hoping no one makes a mistake.
Who'd be a manager?

Not much urgency so far, and not exactly slick passing either

First corner to Harrogate after a bad header back to the keeper from perch.. comes to nothing at the first attempt. Headed away by McLaughlin

Both sides trying to get hold of it and it's end to end

Low ball in from Gordon cleared away from the defender after it had beaten the keeper... Would have been a tap in for someone

With Maynard basically upfront by himself it’s hard to see where the goals are coming from, a great low cross in just now though. Some decent headers from bowery but not really looking threatening in general

Not very good first 25. All very scruffy and obvious intent to get it down and play.
