You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Doesn’t sound like they want to sell him but could be a marketing tactic. If he’s out of contract in the summer they either have to give him improved terms or sell him in January. Seeing as we are the only other club he can play for this season, there won’t be many queuing up to buy in January.

Of course George could just let his contact run down and hope for a big signing on fee next season at another club.

It is a nice problem to have though! Some of our midfield loanees have been so frustrating and a waste of our time. I am sure that the management team will have a view on what will happen or have alternatives lined up.

Good Luck to the lad, if he continues to play an score like he's doing atm I doubt he'll be playin for us next term. He's better than Lge 2 by a long way

Charsley is in the shadow of Lapslie a bit but is a decent player and gives 100%

My 8 year was trying to sing the logical song and it sounded like he was sing about Lapslie.

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful
A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing George Lapslie
Oh joyfully, playfully watching him.

I know we used the song for CJ.

Obviously with performances like the ones at Sunderland & FGR this lad is gunna get attention... Unfortunately that's the way loan's work.... If the player does well he is often tempted away by bigger clubs (ie Tyler walker, O'Neil Donaldson etc)

Thems the breaks I guess

I think he can only play for two teams this season, and he’s already played for charlton. So either they recall him in Jan and give him a shot or they sell him to us. He wouldn’t go elsewhere
