7.10 on Monday on the BBC and some ex-pro desperate to avoid the after dinner circuit and for a career on the tv will be pulling our ball out of the pot. Who we want, home or away, giants like Pompey or minnows like marine?

Home tie against some plucky non-leaguers. It'll give us a chance to get to round three and get some more prize money, plus a bit of TV money too hopefully

We’d be hard pushed to get a second round draw as tough as the first one (on paper)

Doncaster looked very tasty. Whiteman was class, would avoid them like the plague.

Haha.
Some part time none-leaguers please, then man U away.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

some non leaguers then derby at home.
Would love Nigel to beat them while they're struggling so badly, and as in his contract, allegedly, Rooney would have to play at the mill!

We owe Darlington a defeat and an away tie could see us on the telly.

Seems to be more shocks than usual including the Stags so the draw will contain a few more non league teams than usual. It's a while since we beat a team higher up the pyramid in the FA Cup. It will be our luck to get to the 3rd round and pull out an away tie at one of the big six when we can't attend.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

Does it matter if fans can’t turn up ?
Let’s try to get as far as we can.

The broadcast fee for a televised game in the 1st Rd was £32,500 for each club. If you win the game then that is worth another £25,000.
