Let's hope he starts with Cook at least and then either Maynard or Reid if two strikers.

It's difficult to see us getting a win - I'm going for 2 -2.

Depends what was said just before Cook was substituted. GC wasn't pleased about the blatant foul by Cook and Cook didn't seem pleased with the support he was receiving.

The camera was looking at the corner ready to be taken rather than they player leaving the field so can't see what the reaction was when Cook was subbed. Whether Coughlan patted his back or whether they blanked each other.

Need the best performance of the season and Cheltenham to think it'll be easy against a bottom club.

Expecting a win because this run has to end soon right?

Maybe Mal's positive test will have an effect and Cheltenham will be wary of getting too close.

I think we've took covid protocol for distance too seriously in recent games with the distancing.

He has to start Cook. He's our best player.

2-0 the Stags.

Gordon crosses and Cook heads it in.
Gordon crosses and heads it back to Maynard who slots it home.
Simples.

If Reid or Bowery start 0-0.

Went to that game. Anthony Howell put the Stags 1-0 up with a shot from outside the area and then Rheady headed in a corner in at the back post to make it 2-0. Cheltenham pulled a goal back with four minutes to go and it was a very nervous last 9/10 minutes. Ref seemed to take ages to blow the whistle.

Grimsby Town beat Cheltenham away by playing a 3-4-3 formation against Cheltenham's usual 3-5-2. Ian Holloway said after the game he deliberately played a quick three up front to get at Cheltenham's three centre backs (Raglan, Tozer and Boyle) as normally they have too much space and do not have players on top of them closing them down.

Looks like we need to get at them with pace, maybe he will start Reid.

Thinking about it, Stech will need to be on top form, Cheltenham love a long throw into box, He will definitely be tested.

From a Cheltenham news thread
Looking at where Mansfield are, they will want to be hard to beat again won’t they?

They are in a false position with the squad they have and the players they have. Against Morecambe on Tuesday they had Jamie Reid, George Bowry and Nicky Maynard on the bench, they’d all walk into most League Two teams. That gives you an idea of the strength they have. They’d had a difficult start with four draws from seven so they are hard to beat, but they’ve fallen the wrong side in a couple of tight games. At the weekend they had chances, but their goalkeeper has made a mistake like Josh did last week and there is not a lot you can do about that. They’ll come here and I imagine try to be hard to beat so we need to try and impact ourselves on them. They changed their shape in personnel the other week and it’s hard to predict anyone’s team at the moment due to the pandemic. I turned up on Tuesday night expecting to see Neil Cox and it was Russ Wilcox. We will be focusing on ourselves and how we can affect the game.

Well Maynard would walk into most sides.

Bowery's level is about that of AFC Mansfield

Front three of Maynard, Reid with cook in the middle would be nice to see

He’s not Haydn White but he’s got a bit of pace, which will show against Cheltenham defenders
If he’s not quick put him in the middle of a three, Cook can do the runs down the side
