Still feel for him. Decent bloke. It’s gone badly wrong. Hopefully the situation is handled well. He has to go tonight in truth.

How he got Bristol Rovers to 4th ill never know... but look at their quick slide down the table after he left, maybe a truer indication to the squad he built there.

This side is getting worse, I don’t think we have a bad strikers or even midfielders, but the defence and goalkeeper is absolutely woeful. It’s a results based business and his results for nearly a whole year have been shocking.
We didn’t look like we had a clue today.

Ive messaged CR on instagram just saying "we need an experienced manager and quick, cowley, Clough, Paul cook... The fans know you will get it right, we all love the club and you two"
She's liked it and replied with a crying emoji...

Bizarrely I think they are player for player a stronger squad. They just look so poor
I’d also say we’re physically fitter as well, maybe better individuals but somehow a worse team

That's why football is so hard to predict. To have taken The Gas to fourth place at the third level was amazing because they were a poor squad. But he inherited that squad. At Mansfield he has been allowed to assemble his own squad to a large degree.
Appointing a manager who had only been in charge for one year at a single club was a risky thing to do but could have turned out to be a brilliant move by Mr Radford. Unfortunately it isn't looking like it.

I agree, he looked a broken man walking down that touch line on his own at FT, never even went to the players, I think he knows what’s coming.

King Edwards is the closest caretaker I reckon, bring him in, he can't do any worse

How can any fair minded person say such a thing ,he is a man who is trying his best ,he has the same responsibilities as us all ,he might not be winning every game ,but my god he is trying

Hes not trying though is he? He's being a stubborn idiot. Blaming the owners for not giving him his squad. Sticking with out of form players. Stood looking idle on the sidelines.... he's not up to it, he's been found out big time. Hes not winning every game? he's not won any.

Funnily enough King Edward’s caretaker (Geoff I believe) worked for Forest on their youth coaching team. So you may be correct on that one

He might well be trying, unfortunately though he’s falling well short of the mark!
9 games without a win at any time is shocking, let alone to kick off the season with!

He is trying, but it is not good enough.

He’d have spoke a lot more sense and probably had the team playing better than that ramshackle raspberryshow out there today

GC could be just the man for a relegation scrap though. He got Bristol Rovers out of trouble

In the best interests of all concerned we need a club statement today
it’s clear this isn’t going to work & we need to move quickly, something is very very wrong with either formation, tactics or players, i was ashamed of that performance truly embarrassed
he has to go & has to go today
Our time will come

I just pray that we have a proper interview process for the new manager and dont appoint one within a day of sacking GC....
Unless its Cook or Cowley of course...
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

As if we’re 8 points short of the last playoff place after just 6 games. It’s honestly pathetic.
I think the only reason he is still here is because of a quick turnaround away to Morecambe on Tuesday. It’s so clear that we will go nowhere under Coughlans management.
Agree with Cunno, let’s have a proper interview process this time unless their is a clear outlier in terms of quality.
