No thanks, better managers available. Why do our fans always want managers back that we’ve sacked in the past?

Yes, eat humble pie, offer him a deal until Summer.
No good saying there are better available, they won't come here with the transfer window closed and most of the new boys on two year deals.
But Flitcroft may wish to try and prove a point?

How long would we give him to convert this lot into his style? According to GC the players overrule him and go long. What good would it do only to the end of the season? Whilst possible, I can't see us challenging for play offs this term.
If we are going for a formeranager then let's get Cox in for his famous run in the second half of a season.

Absolutely not, he failed twice. A fresh face is required with some type of football brain.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

Shouldn't have been sacked.
However, would be a mistake to bring him back.

I agree, it was a stupid decision to sack him and I am sure privately those who screamed for his head are regretting it now, not that they'll admit it. None of our previous manager's should come back.

Agree. Our travails all go back to that stupid knee jerk decision.
But we have to move forwards.

no, last time he saw he had players he could work with.
Hes got nothing this time. He'd deserve the key to the town the get them to stay up.

Completely agreed, we’ve got a team of workhorses that seem off the pace!

Realistically I would say Graham Alexander.

Nigel Clough... if we were two down at HT he'd give them a kick up the backside and probably tell one or two that was them done. Graham has probably they've been playing ok... no improvement in the second half.

Nigel lives at Little Eaton, 30 minute ride into work, but would he come here, maybe not?

I'd take Clough, flipflop no thanks. Last time we went back a former manager we went down that season.
