It’s George Lapslie.

Now that, chaps, is a signing.

Exactly what our midfield needs.

Sounds likes he a box to box midfielder with plenty of energy. Sounds similar to Charsley really, but think previously he has played deeper, yet he says in his interview he will be playing in an advance role.

Yes, he set up the 5th goal for Ajose in the replay (2:10). He also put him through one on one in the first tie (3:14) and missed a good chance himself (0:24)

Am i missing something here?

Whats with the adulation for another midfielder when we get over run anyway because of the god damn awful set up and tactics?

I think our midfield would be fine if used in a more dare i say it, "old fashioned" formation

Just cant see what hes going to bring to the table if its the same negative set up?

We needed another midfielder so we had some decent depth anyway if nothing else. With Clarke out injured on Saturday you looked at our midfield options on the bench and we had Smith - that’s not good enough considering that was the situation we found ourself in from just one injury.

He thinks Stech is a good goalie and Bowery a good striker so that means squat diddly

Does the new signing know that we want the ball to be played on grass, stroking the ball along the green stuff to feet? And has be employed to do that?

Or has he got the neck of an owl and has just been employed to watch the ball go whoosh over his head?

I hope it is the former. For our sake.
