Noticed the Tranmere players emerged from the west stand. Where in the west stand did they get changed

It makes me chuckle when teams can’t use the away dressing rooms or walk out of the tunnel together especially when they’re climbing all over each other and gobbing everywhere for 100 minutes

All about the effect of being indoors not dispersing the aerosol from the mouth. Try making sense of the rules about singing or playing brass instruments

Which makes it even more baffling that they opened the pubs

All I needed to hear from Cook was "I want to play for Mansfield", he said it, I'm happy.

I’m pleased that he’s here. What I don’t understand is how a professional footballer could be 10kg overweight.

Some confusion in the interview if it was 10kg or 10lbs. I suggest it was 10 lbs.

10kg is 22lbs.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Its only 1.5 stone. Yeah a lot for a footballer but he was clearly out of shape last year. I'm glad he's getting fitter and wants to be here. Can't see how GC will keep 5 main strikers happy though but we shall see.

indeed, confusion. This was what he said:

"Andy Cook, for a player to lose 10lb or 10kg ... yes you'll ask how the hell has he got 10kg on him in the first place ... but that's the issues that we had to delve in to ... we got where we need him ... I thought he was a real handful, he fought and he scrapped for everything."

10lb overweight is still a lot for a professional footballer

I guess it depends on what overweight means here. It would suggest he was over the intended target that GC put in place, and not necessarily in bad shape.

Also, losing 10kg doesn't mean he's overweight.

Cook was way out of shape last season. Let's see what a fully commited, fully fit (mentally and physically) Cook can do. It's him with t'shirt now and his to keep if he starts scoring
