https://letfansin.co.uk/The above is a website where you can put in your postcode and a list of non-league clubs near you is displayed. It does not go down as far as Step 7 but will help if you are at a loose end and what see to see a local game.
Also it lists Chesterfield

The quality of AFC has dropped massively from when they first started out imo.

Very good results for the local non-league sides in the FA Cup last night:
AFC Mansfield 2 Sherwood Colliery 1
Liam Marsden started for the Bulls with Jamie McGuire, Jonathan D'Laryea and Tom Slone on the bench.
Newark Flowserve 4 Deeping Rangers 0
The first FA Cup match featuring a side from Newark since 1961. Liam King scored for Newark. I think Craig Westcarr also plays for them.
Lutterworth Town 2 Staveley Miners Welfare 0
Radford 1 Shepshed Dynamo 1 (Shepshed won on penalties)
West Bridgford 1 Dunkirk 1 (West Bridgford won on penalties)

I'd say that when afc first started their opposition was 11 fat lads from t'pub and they won 16-0 every week more or less so it's clouded your judgement somewhat. The opposition's a lot stronger now

Halifax Town and Bradford Park Avenue closest for me.
20th on the list is Mossley (remember them?) at 18 miles although it would take me 45-50 minutes to get there as opposed to 90 minutes to travel the 68 miles to Field Mill.

Dave Caldwell scored one of the best goals I have ever seen for the Stags at Mossley in the FA Cup on 13th December 1981.
