Didn't Kewell manage a small local non league club once?

Nathan Thomas is a good player. He will score goals and provide assists. He's clearly a bit of a mardy bum though and so difficult to keep happy.

I’d take NT any day, if you get his head right he’s a game changer at this level. Unfortunate he seems to get homesick anywhere south of Hartlepool.

On a side note, John Terry is on the Radfords yacht, is he our 4th centre half?

I'd have him back.

We saw glimpses of quality. He's not mr.consistent, but I think GC's style of play and hard work gives players like Thomas the platform to perform. The team works hard together which allows better players to shine.

If you want him remember the abuse he gave us at Hartlepool. The police made the manager substitute him, for the trouble he was causing. No chance thanks.

He had one good game for us and he was unplayable, so much so the opposition crocked him early doors in second half.

After that rubbish.

It would be a bit like having Ollie Palmer back.

165 apps, 26 goals and 18 assists at L2 level.

That’s a much better record than CJ Hamilton 142 apps, 15 goals and 16 assists, both exactly the same age.

It’s interesting how far someone’s attitude impacts your view of them. I agree NT can be difficult to manage but if you get the best out of him he’s worth it. As I said earlier though, his best seems to require living in the North East.

Yes but Thomas has done it playing from one position whereas CJ has achieved his in at least 5 with two of them (right/left back) being defensive ones. You would have thought the gap would have been wider wouldn't you.

Funny how stat facts can distort a players worth isn't it.
