Goes to show how they value loyalty. The passes have probably gone to the companies who pay the most. Hope it comes back to bite them if they fail to get up and the others lose interest.

Either way in my opinion its very highly likely Nutts County will be back in the football league next week and we will have a local derby to look forward to again so we can give them a proper pasting next season twice

Notts away has to be the worst away day. The ground isn’t safe to hold the number of fans stags take.

They should just give us the kop back, they don't fill it anyway.

I'm sure the last time we had the kop it was even worse, was near impossible to walk down the stairs because it was full of people say on them

Interesting strategy mate... But after 30 years following the stags I've worked out that 92% of all the actual matches are complete toss and I roughly need 6-8 pints to make it bareable

To be honest, either way it'll be good for us. If they come back, we get a good derby. If they don't, we get a good laugh!

I was thinking of doing that with a bet.

Put £20 on county and if they win you double your money if they don’t well haha

Already done the same.

Hopefully if Notts go 1 nil up, you can lay Harrogate on BetFair for a profit either way in-play.

I see EMT giving Clownty massive airtime this week. Can't remember what we got from them
when we came out of the pit of despair. Oh yes, nothing.

Some comments from the thread about the final from Notts County's message board. There is definitely an assumption they are too big to lose. The arrogance is palpable...

"he (Jon Stead) is too slow to be a danger"

"I doubt Stead will be a match winner"

"I actually feel moe confident going into this one than I did the Barnet game"

"I wonder how many they would have taken to Wembley had fans been allowed in? We probably would have at least trebled their numbers"

"No danger, we'll win"

"with all our football league players and their experience and the clubs football league history I’m confident it will be enough to see us through"

I wonder if there'll be a few dodgy decisions in favour of Clownty to save Harrogate from ripping their plaggy pitch up?

It's a shame there will be no fans.

We could have had our annual Mardy Lane day out at Wembley and gone in the Harrogate end. It may have been a reasonable day out and we maybe could have done our bit to keep them down.

I remember them giving us a fair amount of airtime . They are up County’s ass though.
