What about the current covid 19 situation Spanishstag ? We should ALL be adjusting our lives accordingly. Going to the pub and getting inebriated is hardly helping MTFC prepare for the new season and worst still theNHS. Or your adopted country's economy for that matter.

I know what your saying andy ,but he is still a young kid ,when your that age things are different ,still time to learn

I know we're are talking footballers, but the lad is young and although getting drunk in public isn't good for a professional sportsman it happens. As long as punches didn't land and no one was hurt it's all handbags.

Ambers comments about responsibility are justified but should be aimed at Brits in general during the current crisis, not just a young footballer with the kick off 7 or so weeks away.

Agree, he shouldn't be sacked, far from it. But he needs to know walking around like 10 men starting and getting aggy at everyone in a pub is not acceptable behavior for anyone, let alone someone in the semi spotlight.

Hes a young lad, probably got no mates round here, latched onto some idiots.

Can imagine lads probably on himself. Hes originally from north west area living in mansfield away from his family just after a nationwide lockdown. Hes out maybe latching onto some wronguns. Its deffo nothing compared to the Mellis/Donahue situation where they put a lad in hospital and the police deemed it serious enough to release a statement only hours after that incident.

Let GC deal with him how he sees fit and be done with it !!!

The period of time spent in police custody is often a good guide to the seriousness of the offence. He wouldn't be interviewed until the next morning due to being intoxicated (allegedly) but things should have moved fairly quickly next morning. Does anyone know how long he was in custody for?

Somebody will say they know, even if they don't.

A young lad goes out and has too many beers and makes a raspberry of himself. We've all been there and some of us were not so young when we did it. Hopefully he was just mouthing off and nobody was injured. He deserves a second chance.

I think Liam Lawrence went out drinking a few times when he should have been at home as well as crashing his car and breaking his arm.

It still doesn't take the covid 19 situation into account. Which I feel is very relevant.
If the information about the incident is true I'm more concerned about the risk of passing covid 19 round the training group rather than the too much pop.
Last season's debacle is testament to a poor pre season. Covid 19 in the camp would be a disaster.

A bit of a mismatch in size there but I'm not surprised the smaller came out on top. Same attributes as on the pitch, fast, hard, determined and never backs down
