So the rumour-mill is saying we’re signing Will Grigg on Friday on a 3 year contract after offering Sunderland £500k.
Fact .... or more fantasy?

If that is true, which I doubt it is then someone needs their head checking if we're about to spend 500k on a 29 year old.
He's not a bad player, didn't work for him at Sunderland but I hope we don't spend that money on him.

Listen to GC interview we have 4 strikers and mentions if Maynard would like to come back it will be on GC’s and the clubs terms “ie” contract length and wages . Grigg will command a lot more money than Maynard ... nonsense rumour, we are tightening our belts and not splashing money around .

my thoughts exactly. IF Maynard won't resign over presumably lower wages then Grigg won't... imagine what a club like Sunderland are paying him.

We could well be stuck with Cook who doesn’t want to be here.

It has come from a rubbish site but there are some links. A reliable fella on Facebook seemed to think we had been in talks. David Sharpe used to be Will Griggs agent.

Grigg'd never play in a 3 sided ground.

Sign him, just sign Will Grigg’s and have done with it.
If only for the chant, ‘Will Grigg’s on Fire, You’re defence is terrified, Na Na Na’ etc. How much fun would we have with that chant.
Much, much better than ‘Danny, Danny Rose’ as a chant.

Stags fans must be be the biggest biters to these fake transfer Twitter profiles, and that’s why they continue to use us as the team for them.
As if we’d sign Grigg, he’s on £10k plus at Sunderland a week. Absolute no chance we’d go for him or he’d go to us.

26 goals in the 2017/18 season? He stepped up to the Championship with Wigan and didn't quite cut it and then has had 2 poor seasons at Sunderland, which happens to lots of players. That club is a graveyard. In League 2 you'd still expect him to tear it up. Looks like it's a fake anyway.

Can't believe how gullible a lot of Stags fans are
Get Netflix and watch "Sunderland Til I Die" and how the saga to even sign Grigg unfolds...
And then try and work out how on earth we could ever afford him...

There may be more to this rumour than people think. This morning, in town, whilst purchasing a tasty vegan sausage roll I saw Will Grigg, in Greggs looking groggy.
Every team needs a pi$$head in the team and since we have lost Mellis, Rick Miller etc he would fit the bill. Or have I just gone ‘aliterate‘ bit mental?

No , you saw Jeff Gregg . Grandson of the fat inducing plastic sandwich chain , sobering up after a heavy night playing killer in the Kings Head .

Kin-ell Sparkey, now look what you've done.
Didn't you know that Tomlinson reads this forum and is eager to do anything to please the crowd. Well he's certainly applied for the position you advertised or at least appears to have done so.
