Looks like they’re both going for penalties.

Regarding friendlies Notts also played a friendly last week too. The players are tested every week.

Really entertaining second half as Barnet somehow win 2-0 at Yeovil. A real steal by Barnet as Yeovil were much the better side and very unlucky, but credit to Barnet for clearing several off the line. Barnet will play at Notts County in the semi-final.

Notts will hammer Barnet.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

And Barnet’s keeper from and still lives in this area, comes from a family of Forest fans and supported the Stags at the Millennium Stadium in the play off final against Huddersfield. He’ll want to win this one 100%

Yeovil looked the better side. I’m not sure Barnet have enough quality to beat Notts. I hope the steal another victory though. Come on Barnet!!!

Where are you watching them Martin? online? BT said they were showing all these playoff games but it just appears to be national league ones, not north and south?

Thanks but no thanks, I already pay for BT Sport which is supposed to include national league games. North and south final games should be included in that, they've shown highlights of their games on by sport already.

Conference North Play Offs
Brackley Town 1 Gateshead 1 (HT: 1-1)
Gateshead won 6-5 on penalties.

I paid £15 to watch the Conference North and South Play Offs. Very good value based on yesterday's games. Tremendous finish to the first half with Brackley's Shane Byrne scoring a 55 yard screamer straight from the kick off after centre half, Jake Cooper (on loan from Rotherham), had headed Gateshead into the lead from a free kick. Gateshead eventually won 6-5 on penalties but Lorrell Smith had a chance to win the game for Brackley in the shoot out after Jordan Preston had missed his second penalty of the game. Gateshead keeper, Brad James, on loan from Middlesbrough, saved Smith's penalty and then saved Ellis Myles' penalty to win the game for the Heed. I thought Gateshead deserved it overall and JJ O'Donnell nearly won it for them in the 2nd half. I remember him playing for Gateshead in the National League Play Off Final at Wembley in 2014 when they lost 2-1 to Cambridge United. My man of the match was young Gateshead centre half, Elliott Forbes. Nicky Deverdics was also good in midfield.

It is the second season running that Kevin Wilkin's Brackley have lost on penalties in the play offs although I did see them beat Bromley on penalties at Wembley to win the FA Trophy in 2018. Kevin Wilkin still has a good sprinkling of former Nuneaton players in his team such as captain, Gaz Dean, James Armson and Shane Byrne. Brackley also had former Coventry and Portsmouth player, Carl Baker.

Conference North Play Offs
Altrincham 3 Chester 2 (HT: 1-0)
Another excellent game. Altrincham went 1-0 up in the 1st half through Josh Hancock but then in the 2nd half referee, David McNamara, controversially gave Altrincham a soft penalty when Dan Mooney tumbled on to the floor as he was running into the area and to make it worse the ref also sent off Chester's John Johnston who was making a genuine effort to play the ball. The double jeopardy rule was not applied. Elliott Durrell scored from the spot to make it 2-0 and then he scored a second to put Alty 3-0 up in the 59th minute. 10 man Chester pulled a goal back when Anthony Dudley squared the ball to George Glendon in the 63rd minute and then Matty Hughes headed in Matty Waters' cross to make it 3-2 with 11 minutes to go. Unfortunately Chester could not score a 3rd goal to take it to penalties but it was a great effort by them. They will feel robbed by the referee.

Assistant Manager, Anthony Johnson (of Salford City Ant and Bern fame) was sent off for voicing his frustration. He said after the game "At the time I thought it was a disgrace and I think it even more so now that I've seen it back. Anybody that disagrees with me they've got to be blind, that's how I see it. I'll be honest, I put a tweet out a couple of weeks ago when I saw who was reffing the game because there is always that element of decision making in games where he plays a part and we've seen it again today."

They just previewed a documentary on Harrogate Town on BT Sport prior to the game with Boreham Wood. Looks like it's going to be a good documentary (which will be shown once Harrogate's season is over).

Harrogate are on top and Ashmore has been superb in goal for Boreham Wood. Rheady clipped the post with a header early on in their only attack.

Warren Burrell is playing for Harrogate. He is a former Stags youth team player.

Harrogate the better side in the first half, but Rheady hit the post. HT 0-0

I've also got York v Altrincham on a second screen. Alty lead 1-0 after 20 minutes.
