Good luck to him. He was a very good keeper until his knee injury knocked him back.

I spent ten minutes talking with him towards the end of the season before last. At the time he was hoping for a new contract.
Came across as a nice and positive person. The injury certainly didn't help him. It came at a time he had cemented his place in the team.
I hope his new venture is a success.

I'm surprised, I thought he was good enough to stay in the league and I hope he will continue to play semi-pro. Good luck to him.

Prior to White and Bobby getting serious injuries I thought it was the most solid I’ve seen our team for years. The injuries of those two players were key to us not being promoted imo. It shouldn’t be underestimated how good they were both performing up to that point, and you could see some confidence drain out the team. Good keeper and sad it ended like it did. Good luck Bobby!

:D What a credit Bobby was to MTFC , he had to wait a long time for his chance due to Logan's blunders

Bobby lept and grabbed it with both hands ,then to be cruelly lose is place with that nasty injury.

Good luck to the Future Bobby

Before his injury I thought he was looking really good. Excellent distribution and on the ball and both commanding and making good saves. Complete opposite after the injury so wonder if that has played a big part in his decision.

Interesting he mentions Eric Steele... this guy is responsible for so many top keepers in the country, including De gea and a fair few other players... he would be an ideal scout for us while he's working at St.Georges.

He talks about Mansfield Town, Steve Evans and the decision to retire towards the end (34m 40s)

Playing under Steve Evans - Very load and vocal. Enjoyed playing for him. You knew where you stood. If you perform then you are in the team. If you don't then you are out. Players have to do their best week in week out to stay in the team. Has no favourites. The players who play are the ones doing the best at the time but if you have a poor game then another player steps in. That means players are in and out of the team which does not necessarily help team spirit.

Olejnik hardly played under Evans did he? Thought he featured more under DF

once again we hear from a player singing the praise of our owners and yet some on here question their commitment and call them at every opportunity.

Anybody would think they want them to fail
