If Maynard and Cook leave that must free up a huge amount of cash!!!

Predominantly right footed but the left is not bad either. Can also head and take a defender on. Seems decent from what I’ve seen. Welcome Jamie and good luck at Stags !

Good luck to him but Ollie was a similar signing but surely he would not be like him running headless and missing sitters
Welcome J good luck

Palmer had one decent season at Conference South level before joining us. Reid has been tearing it up in a division we are only several league places above. Big difference.

Yes, he was with us. He has turned into an effective striker for league two.

I agree, Ollie had all the attributes but only put it together after leaving us. If he had come to us the player he is now I’m sure our opinion of him would be different. I think similarly of Adi Yussef who looked a different player at Solihull Moors, quite literally how he changed his fitness and body! That said I’ve not heard much of him since he moved to Blackpool.

Reid actually scored 32 of his goals for torquay at Conference South level scoring 19 at conference prem level... you could say thats one decent season also at conference south level same as palmer.... however I agree with most I think he will be far better than palmer. Reid looks completely different

Watching palmers conference goals back its clear he has little footballing ability.... His main attribute is that he's really strong and tall, he bulked up and spent everyday in the gym towards the end of his time here with taff and after at other clubs, its useful to have a big strong lump in this league.

We cannot rely on Reid making the transition quickly, one for the future I imagine and off the bench etc.

One thing he will have is hunger but we still need the finished article to come in.
