Northampton - lowest possession stats in League 2 but have scored half their goals from set pieces.

in open play, they are a very ordinary side. But they come alive from set pieces, with excellent delivery from Nicky Adams and those monster long throws from Charlie Goode, and that is the reason they reached the play-offs.
that Charlie goode is huge, yet he falls to the floor so easily. I'm sure he was a pain in the arris when we played them

True, it's a shocking away day off the edge of the A12.
I agree. The three grumpy old men enjoy an away weekend in Exeter while Cheltenham & Cobblers are almost local derbies.

Cheltenham only a short trip for me so try and go each season. They do look the better of the 4 teams so far so expect them to progress unfortunately.
I was impressed by Colchester when they played at our place, attacked in numbers and scared the living daylights out of our fragile defence.

Cheltenham were the best side I’ve seen at Mansfield this season by a mile, not that we could pass, head, kick or shoot the ball at that stage.

I thought Northampton would be bottom of the league they were one of the worst teams I’ve seen. Other than diving I don’t know what they was any good at.

The Quest highlights show is back on tomorrow, so assume that will cover the goals at least.

More goals from set pieces than any other team in League Two

Cheltenham is a great away day, there is a great little pub 10 minutes from the ground which we always go in before and after the game.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

This.
A disgrace that this squad let us down so badly.

Exeter 3-1 Colchester, (3-2 on agg, after extra time). Really good game at Exeter, and they just about deserved to get to Wembley over the two legs.

Vadaine Oliver on the score sheet early on for Northampton away at Cheltenham. This Northampton start has reminded me of when they were 2-0 down against us in the playoffs and came roaring back into the tie.

I can't understand why they didn't bring Chris Clements on. Used their last sub now so shot it I think.

They could do with him, they need a miracle right now. Northampton have been superb to be fair, not let Cheltenham lay a glove on them all night.
