Says who ?
He has been given a good run in the team by GC (I accept there isn't much competition). He has also been given the task of taking penalties. He is the type of player who gives everything, something that GC requires in his players. My guess is he will be with us next season.spanishstag wrote:MTFCMAD wrote:spanishstag wrote:I dont get this thing about him being a workhorse ,he gives 100% and can play football ,some on here would criticise messi as a lazy bugger ,danny rose will be here next season imo and i think it will be one of the easiest decisions coughlan will make ,maynard on the other hand will be off like a shot ,just not bothered about us

Rose didn't do anything other professional sportsman wouldn't do or in fact anyone employed wouldn't do, see a better opportunity on more money etc and want some of it.
He apologised, admitted his error and we move on.
The only reason Rose will leave will be for a club with a better chance of promotion, if the manager wants him at our club he is going to have to tell him his future plans and Danny will then make up his mind.

Oh yes he did. He tried holding the club and owners to ransom less than 6 months after they gave him a long contract. So he apologised. I think that’s irrelevant. His actions spoke to his nature.

Disagree, OK he doesn't walk on water, he's human, he made a mistake.
As I said, he is no different than any other professional sportsman.

Or any other human being who wants a job with more money & better prospects/promotion!

Exactly.
And Dan’s point is fatuous. Which makes a change.

Hardly comparable, football runs differently to different industries but I'm not surprised seeing an anti rose comment from you.

Oh! so in this case football is different to any other industry, yet when players are getting called out for poor play, lack of form, lack of effort etc. the snowflake argument is "how would you like to be abused at work" and suddenly it's not a different industry. Get it now.
