Why do you need to have a nasty side to develop kids into professional footballers?

Maybe nasty is the wrong word but he definitely needs to be tougher when needed.

The fans, the players and himself! I believe the Radfords and Steve would have given him more time.

Let's face it the change isn't showing any improvement except the fans are quieter and the players support the manager.

When things were going wrong JD needed to take risks with players and positive tactics. Defensive tactics are always risky look at the recent Carlisle result.

All the best John u will be back as a manager at a team at some stage just need more time and experience and stop being so nice......to be a success more u need to be a pain in the back side like fatty Evans

Managing/coaching a team of seasoned professionals and young players are completely different jobs and as such require different approaches and to a degree, different skill sets. You could clock from a mile off that Dempster didn't have the personality to manage a team of professionals with big personalities.

Youth is his level, at least for the time being.
