The guy who handles our new kits etc has posted on twitter he’s off to Mansfield to finalise the 20/21 gear.

Wasn’t this meant to be the last season with them?

Would love it if we could be a proper club with a quality kit manufacturer.

Give over.

If the club did have a top brand such as Umbro and the kit was quality made they’d shift even more stock.

I don’t buy the kits any longer but if we had a well made one with a decent brand I would, I’d even be happy to pay more than what we currently charge. I’m sure there are others out there that would agree

The point is that I and many others want to buy a Stags shirt, but won't because it's a stupid price for a shoddy product. Can you grasp that?

To be fair with Carolyn being so in to fashion by the looks of her social media I thought she’d have sorted us a decent kit supplier out

Shame we’re sticking with Surridge. There’s a reason we’re the only club in the football league supplied by them... they’re tinpot.

To be honest I think we’ve had some worse kits over the years .
Surridge is a family firm & I’d rather us do business with them than the likes of money bags big brands

All for using a family firm. But their product is rubbish. And customer service even worse.

Surridge are older than just about every other sportswear company in the world, &, I think deserve a little respect. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of their product is comparable to something like Nike's team-wear templates that their dealers would supply to lower league clubs. Lets face it, even some of their kits to top flight outfits are templates & very basic.

At least with Surridge, there are no templates, no one has a kit like the ones we have. Our fade-out style kit was the first like it, & not long after you saw Manchester United & Tottenham with a similar design.

That said, i'd take Umbro over anyone, their kits are well thought out & very well designed & they have had a resurgence since they were cut loose from Nike (who, lets face it, just bought them to finally get their hands on the England kit deal, & probably Manchester City also).
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

I've never had a problem with any of the replica shirts I've bought although one of the training tops has gone 'bobbly' (and no before you say it I don't mean Blobby)

I'm not bothered who the manufacturer is as long as it's decent stuff and all of mine have stood up well to wear. I never have believed in labels though so am a bit of a dinosaur. Maybe acknowledge we are all expanding and buy the bigger size and they may stand up better.

Should be Umbro all day long.... Brilliant design and quality and British heritage, and they welcome small clubs

Umbro have supplied more teams kits than any other manufacturer. Didn't we have one before?

Great company are Surridge. Sent me a load of Surridge stickers when I mailed them. Stuck them on the side of the trains on my model railway.
