Don't agree re: Bradford. I know we're terrible at home, but they've not won away since the 12th October and that was at Morecambe. Their other two away wins were against Walsall who were 21st at the time, and Stevenage. Since their last win on the road they've failed to beat Macclesfield, Orient and Carlisle, all of whom are struggling. Plus we played them two weeks ago and they were garbage, only beating us thanks to our own stupidity.

Whenever we have a game against a “they’ve not won away since 1974”, they always get their win against us

I believe we were winning 1-0 late in that game through a Matt Rhead goal but Plymouth equalised very late on

If my memory serves me right, one Nathan Thomas turned Beavers inside out with Beavers falling to the ground and dislocating his shoulder before the cross for the equaliser came in.

Now it’s Wednesday I feel I can post, I can’t remember seeing us get anything from Plymouth away so I’m not overly hopeful. Optimist says 1-1 but I’m not expecting much.

Zero points. Just depends what mood Plymouth are in as to how many they score.. Went 1 up at FM and saw the game out easily. Could be 4 or 5 if they get a taste for it.

We won at Plymouth to a 4-1 scoreline on September 9, 1978. For more details, see the topic named "Plymouth away preview" on site.

Cosy over-nighter on JR's tab somewhere in Devon. Pearce and Mellis refuse to get out the jacuzzi to go to the game, and Donohue turns up and lobs a plate of bacon and eggs on to the floor. GC and JD play rock/paper/scissors on the bus to decide whose going in nets. There's no case for the defence.
3-1 to the Green Army . Cook to score for us.

Maybe true, but how many times have we played Plymouth in that time span, not many I'd guess?

We've played there 12 times since our last win.

It will be interesting to see what GC does in midfield, especially if a new midfielder or two hasn’t been brought in by Saturday.

Tomlinson is out for a few weeks, so will he bring back Mellis to pair with Bishop, shift Macca inside and start Khan on the wing despite him being out of favour with GC, or will he commit managerial suicide and start Smith with Bishop?

I would also start Hayden White at right back to better deal with Danny Mayor. White’s pace, athleticism and experience is better equipped to negate Mayor - he’s a much better one on one defender than Clarke, even though I think Clarke has held up okay-ish for the most part in previous games. I think he’d have Clarke on toast with Clarke being so young.

Clarke would be fine if he wasn’t regularly exposed by our non-functioning midfield. Hi task hasn’t been helped by the strange performances by his “senior” colleagues in centre defence.

If macca is supposed to be out wide/ in front of Clarke then Clarke is automatically raspberried... he did shout and at him one game but macca gave it back and then made the situation even worse. He really needs to go.

Was it the last time we were at Plymouth that Dave Smith was introduced to the crowd. He got a great reception from the Stags fans and had a few nice things to say about us even though he was shafted by the then owners. To my mind our best manager ever and it was basically his team that Peter Morris took into the old div 2

A scrappy 1 0 to the Stags. Pearce plays and scores the winner on 92 minutes, running to the massed ranks of Mansfield fans and gripping the badge.

Or 3 0 to Plymouth.

Can’t decide which.

Go to Fleabay and type in something like Windows 10 key. You can buy a genuine product key for activation with a link to download Windows 10 for about £5 ish.
Oh yeah....Up the Stags (football related) :coys:

Well it'll not be 'massed ranks' for starters. We'll do well to top 150. I could go, but the thought of 10 hours driving to watch our bunch of bottlers is a no go. I'll use the 100 quid to do something better and interesting
