2-0 up and didn't crap their pants after conceding, I wish we could do that. We play at t'Globe very soon and I have every confidence in our players to come home with nothing atm.

I am sure if you came with us to Morecambe to cheer the lads on, then we would come back with three points from the seaside.

If Bradford played a full 90 at 1pm Sat afternoon I'd still back em to rip our lot a new one.

We've played fairly well against Bradford, Swindon, FGR & Plymouth, all near to top of that table, & with a little bit of luck (& the continually non-existent rub of the green) & some decent defending we could have won three of those games...

Maybe things will click soon, we'll defend properly, take our chances & we will be giving another a team a good hiding.
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

We need to tighten things up at the back either through hard work on the training ground or new personnel like GC said in his interview.

Our inability to defend anything at the moment is killing us...
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Having one side of the ground totally empty is no excuse I know but home games do lack something and I think it must be strange for players too...some players hide over there.

So we want wins for Northampton and Crewe tonight.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I’m not aiming this at you at all but I think that argument is geniunely raspberrys.

Players growing up won’t have played on pitches with stands, nor will some reserve games so not entirely sure why not having a 4th stand would make a difference. If anything I’d much rather a decent big stand like what we’ve got than 2 smaller ones where less atmosphere can be generated

Can’t understand why we don’t play in this cup. Even Forest u23’s are in it this season.

Watching Macclesfield v Crewe on iFollow. Commentary from BBC Radio Stoke.

Macclesfield have only lost one game at home and only conceded 8 goals. Crewe do not have a good record there.

Crewe commentators complaining about the poor pitch. Defenders struggling with back passes. Sounds familiar

Fiacre Kelleher is playing at centre half on the right hand side in a back four.

Macclesfield pressing Crewe well. Gnahoua has had a couple of shots from distance.

Macclesfield 1-0 up. Gnouhua crossed and Paul Green side footed it into his own net running back towards his own goal. Great finish.

Half Time: Macclesfield Town 1 Crewe Alexandra 0

A very scrappy game on a bobbly pitch. Crewe have not got their passing game going at all. They seem to be playing 4-2-3-1 with Daniel Powell, Paul Green and Charlie Kirk playing behind Chuma Anene up front. Charlie Kirk is coming very deep for the ball. Nicky Hunt is playing at centre half next to Michael Nottingham. They have not had a shot on goal yet despite having 57% possession.

Macclesfield are playing the ball quickly forward and pressing from the front. They are winning a lot of 2nd balls in Crewe's half. Arthur Gnahoua has been there best player on the left. He had a couple of shots from distance. On 44 minutes David Fitzpatrick threaded a great ball down the left behind Perry Ng for Arthur Gnahoua to run on to. He crossed across the area on the floor. The cross took a deflection and Paul Green running towards his own goal side footed expertly into the corner of the net.

Fiacre Kelleher has won a few headers and has mainly been banging it long. Fraser Horsfall (23), the other centre half, has also been playing well.

Crewe have apparently had 150 shots on target this season which has only been beaten by Manchester City.

It looks a lot worse now. The games coming up against Morecambe, orient etc are going to be crucial now. We really need to start picking up points
