Still lives in chesterfield, seen him Morrison’s in scumland last Sunday on way to chatsworth with Mrs.
A friend of mine is a Barrow fan.
Earlier on in the season, Barrow almost slipped into the bottom four. At that time my friend said Evatt was facing the sack.
Bet they're glad they didn't eh! Three points clear at the top and scoring and winning for fun.

But they obviously saw something in that guy to stick with ...can you honestly say the same about Dempster... he can't win ....he can't win from a strong position against ten men and the team stop playing...he can't win from an equal game. ..he loses from an equal game. ..we get torn apart by average teams. The team aren't doing it either with him or despite him. How much longer do we have to stagnate for ?

Was not ready for a League 2 managers role end of and was exposed badly to take that roll after DF left,
worth a try for his loyalty and character but its obvious he was not going to cut it after first 10 games.

Who is actually still available and would be a good appointment?
Tisdale
Jones
That about it?
Managers from clubs doing well have sometimes taken a step down to go to a better club, who could we poach?!

Being managerless is a better plan B than keeping JD

Honestly Sedgwick, those two should be the top two targets.
I would however even take Adam Murray or Paul Cox back in a heartbeat at the moment. Anyone who can steady the ship and get us organised again.
Dempster is without doubt the worst manager in my lifetime. I started as a 4 year old in 1986

Carlton Palmer was much worse than JD.
JDs deffo a close second since I started attending in the Parkin days.

Trying to think of names not already mentioned and did think of one, not 100% sure it hasn't but I'll say it anyway.
Paul Scholes? It may get a bit tricky when Salford come, but as things stand, all games will be tricky up to and including the Salford game.

Not sure I agree with that... given the differences in budget I actually think Palmer was better.

Life is like football its about timing
FGS at this moment in time there are two stand outs not in work with proven track records
Tisdale & Jones
get it sorted before they are snapped up
Our time will come

I'd love the Stags to appoint Steve Cotterill or Graham Westley as manager just to see Martin's reaction

He only lost 1 game and they won the title.
Bristol City he won the league.

I would be highly delighted having Nigel Clough as manager but that could be my heart ruling my head because I loved watching his Dad's teams and loved watching young Nigel playing for his Dad.
