Thanks for the report Martin.

Seems like it was a much improved performance, but the issue is it is one we know the squad are well capable of, and one we have seen very little of. A case of too little, too late.

Good report Martin, I totally agree with your comment about Smith and Mellis, their presence in midfield prompted that much needed creativity in supplying balls to the forwards. Jacob Mellis must start and Smith played really well, he did not look out of place despite his relative inexperience. I also thought CJ had a good game, hopefully he will keep his place. I was impressed by the overall performance and with a change of manager, this team will perform and pick up more points.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

We didn't deserve to lose yesterday. Poor finishing cost us a point or even better. We arguably played better at the County Ground than under Steve Evans and David Flitcroft. JD's main fault has not been finding a system where we can play our best attacking players. CJ Hamilton and Jacob Mellis should have been playing most of the season. They both played regularly last season under David Flitcroft and were key players.

Fancy Woman?

Only Martin hasn’t added the player ratings to the Swindon match report. There must be a distraction?
