Except they won't be there

Read this from Bob's Bored tonight...

"RIP Chesterfield FC
Its finally happened after 50 years I left a match at half time.
The last 5 years have been horrendous I left the ground in tears.
Don't know if and when I may ever return.
Watching my Club dying in front of me is just too painful to endure anymore"

Almost makes you pity them. Almost.

It’s been mentioned before, but why on earth haven’t their fans set up some kind of action group... seems they’re sleep walking towards oblivion and no one can be arsed to save them. Feeble.

It took them a stupidly long time to accept that Allen wasn't good for them and they haven't even got a proper boycott going. At least we can say that we fought off our leech and saved our club. They're letting theirs die. Maybe they're just not that bright.

Without the money that Allen puts in, week in - week out, Chesterfield Football club would have gone under.

Their forum is a thing of beauty right now. Half the season played and in the relegation zone. Playing the worst and most clueless they have ever been, 6 changes per game, attendences of roughly 2000, and if those old conspiracies about why Sheridan was originally appointed are to be believed they're in serious trouble. Can't just go sacking the man as they straight up cannot afford to.

Yeah but he's only keeping them afloat for his own reasons. It's not like he's investing in them to get them up the leagues.

Still here, just more of a reader of this forum these days rather than much of a contributor.
Could see a lot of arguing and infighting bound to materialise with Dempster etc and the differing opinions of the members of the board. It's depressing enough having to watch us be a shadow of ourselves from last season, without the depression of arguing about it on here afterwards. Tired of it to be honest.
If I contribute anything these days it's more on Facebook, as at least it's not all full of faceless trolls too.
