I thought Andy Cook played better yesterday particularly in the 2nd half. I thought he could have hung on to the ball a bit better in the 1st half. His final ball also let him down a few times. However overall I thought he looked a bit fitter and more mobile and caused the Swindon defenders a few problems.
Who Scored
Aerial Duals Won 7 (Ryan Sweeney 9) (CJ 3!)
Dispossessed 5
Passes 20 (Only 10 successful) (50%)

Playing for a manager, if you can call him that, that doesn’t play to any of our players strengths, only the oppositions!!!

Andy Cook is a goal scorer.
Played well yesterday and has looked good since he came back from injury.

He is what he is, a lump who scores goals from crosses. His touch and link play is lacking at times, especially from the videos I've seen of him in the past, but maybe that has been affected by injuries.

He makes defenders aware of his presence and look for him coming. That can only help us if Maynard and the midfield can take advantage of their indecision

Imagine how many goals we could score if we had an ounce of a creative midfield? saying that, some of the chances we've squandered against the like of Salford & Swindon have been criminal.

Andy Cook had a great game holding up the ball on Saturday, he is what we have been missing. If we improve the service to him by sticking with Saturday’s midfield, we will get more points on the board.

'Feed the goat and he will score' was for Shaun Goater. What's this got to do with do with our forwards?

Well now you've suggested that Fitzy watch Dempster do that in the next home game in December. He always seems to do what someone has said on here a week to ten days before!!

Cook played so well in the second half that the Swindon manager sent on an additional centre half to specifically mark him.
