Swindon scorethread sponsored by Serge Danot

Postby I am Spartacus » Wed Nov 20, 2019 7:32 am

Who? Who is this mysterious Frenchman you ask that is so interested in our away form?

Serge Danot is the creator of the Magic Roundabout. Not the town planners dream that so often baffles the motorists of the southwest but that of the Children’s TV programme of the cow perpetually chewing a flower and the very, very trippy rabbit.

What are your hopes and fears for this game, your expectations of the team, management and result, your reasons for travelling or not travelling? Put them in here, then sit back at 3 pm on Saturday and enjoy or otherwise.

4-0 Swindon.

Apart from Colchester I’m yet to see a good side in L2 this season, I think Swindon look the part and score goals for fun.

If we turn up like we did at Macclesfield it could be a long afternoon.

Swindon evens with the bookies to win.

Get your money on - earn some extra pennies for Christmas.

2-0 Swindon with us finishing with 9 defenders

In the spirit of the thread title, at the end of the game/show Zebadee will be saying 'Time for bed Mr Dempster'. Directors will probably be as laid back as Dillan though.

Head says 2-1 Swindon Heart is hoping for a draw 2-2.

Will it be the Burton team spirit that turns up or the Chorley /Macc one. If the former a fighting 0 0, the latter a thumping by 4 0. We travel and live in hope

I want us to sneak something but I can see this being very one sided. Hope I’m wrong.

we've lost 1 game by more than 1 goal this season. The most likely result is a narrow defeat or a draw, certainly not a heavy defeat.

An inform Swindon team against a less than average Mansfield, a heavy defeat certainly isn’t the most unlikely result at all

We’ve also not really played a good side yet Martin.

Colchester by far the best we’ve played.

Depends on the team. If it’s the same as Macclesfield then it will be 90 minutes of being on the back foot as we don’t have players that can keep the ball.

3-0 Swindon if he carries on in the same vain.

5-0
We will probably line-up very defensively which will invite Swindon to attack attack attack

Statistically the most likely results are 1-0 Swindon or 2-2 draw. I’ll go for the former.

Colchester by far the best we’ve played.

We've played Forest Green and Exeter away, both just behind Swindon in the table. We did not play well for most of the game in either of those games, and drew one of them and lost the other by a single goal.
