Didn't he cross the ball to Tom Denton for Chesterfield's goal?

I see Kwame Thomas has joined Doncaster Rovers. I think I can remember him playing well for Derby U21s when they beat Mansfield Town's Reserves 5-1 in October 2014. He left Derby in 2016 for Coventry City and then played for Solihull Moors last season.

Will Atkinson broke the record at Port Vale for the longest gap between league appearances - 12 years.

County and the sheep could do worse than sign him up.

Hopefully he wouldn't play for either but needs to earn a living. He could be the extra edge to take county up.

Matt Rhead was on big money at Billericay Town......more than most League 2 players. He would have also received a decent signing on fee.

I have watched the Billericay games on You Tube and they were doing reasonably well with Rheady playing most games. Their crazy owner, Glenn Tamplin, then suddenly fell out with the manager, Harry Wheeler, and sacked him for the second time. The fans said it was because Harry Wheeler would not play Archie Tamplin who is Glenn Tamplin's 16 year old son. Archie was often on the bench. He did ok in one game when he came on as a sub but he was clearly at fault for a couple of goals in another game. Glenn Tamplin then said he was getting abuse from fans so put the club up for sale. He was clearly not happy to pay Rheady's wages any more.

Keith Curle says on their site that he can split open defences and offers calmness and composure on the ball. Think he scouted the wrong fella.

Doncaster Rovers sign former Hamilton striker Rakish Bingham

Source: BBC Sport

League One side Doncaster Rovers have signed former Hamilton striker Rakish Bingham on a deal until January.
The 26-year-old ex-Hartlepool and Mansfield man has been without a club since leaving Cheltenham this summer.
Bingham is best known for his time at Scottish side Hamilton, where he scored 16 goals in 97 appearances over two and a half years before leaving in January.
"I want to showcase what I can do. It's a great squad, I just want to try to add to it," he told the club website.
Darren Moore's Doncaster are seventh in the third tier, having thrashed Southend 7-1 in their last league game.

You couldn't have been at Exeter that day when Martin was raving about him. :) :)

I liked Rakish Bingham when he was at the Stags and he looked good at Hartlepool. He would often get into one on one scoring positions due to his pace but he just could not finish. However that was 3 seasons ago. I didn't really follow him at Hamilton or notice him in the 4 starts he made for Cheltenham last year.

I’d say finishing is quite an important skill for a striker

6 goals from 15(13) league starts for the Stags was not bad for Rakish Bingham

I'm sure I heard on a podcast that Burnley bought Andre Gray from Brentford for around £6 million based on the number of scoring positions he got into even though he missed a lot of chances. He scored 18 from 44(3) league games for Brentford which was not bad.

Brentford base their recruitment heavily on analytics. Neal Maupay being a prime example. He scored 12 in his first season but according to his xG positions should have had double that. The following season he scored 25 and is now playing in the Prem.

So are you saying that we should play players who continuously underperform and miss easy chances?

Better get Ollie Palmer back sharpish then.
