We don't need "can play there too". Who is playing right back or wing back? Oh yeah, our right winger. This is why youth doesn't get a chance. We'd rather play 40% of the starting XI out of position than change shape or give one of the YTS lads a crack who are knocking on the door to the first team.

I’ve not really seen him but he can’t be as good as what we’ve got atm so it makes sense to get him more experience imo.

I'm sure that he's pretty good, but highly inexperienced. Dempster will know all about him and give him a chance as soon as he's ready.
We're on a promotion push. We can't be always playing youngsters to give them experience. Part of that experience is learning from mistakes, and a League 2 promotion push isn't a great time for young players to make frequent mistakes, particularly at this level where the opposition will be good enough to take humiliating advantage from an error. It's not good for us, and could destroy the player's confidence.
Although Boston are also on a promotion push and play at a decent level, it's nothing like League 2 standard (remember that they are in a league below Chesterfield!) and he'll get away with a lot more there.
