I have done a bit of ground hopping recently and came across Jefferson Louis.

He was a sub for Chesham United at Taunton Town on 17th August. He played most of the match as he came on after about 10 minutes.

He is now 40 and Chesham is his 37th club and he has been transferred 42 times.

Also mentioned in the initial list by TTF was Oscar Gobern. I thought I recognised the name although he only played 9 games for us. He had an impressive game for Dover Athletic at Harrogate Town last week.

Accrington Stanley striker receiving treatment for depression

Accrington Stanley striker Billy Kee is undergoing specialist treatment for depression, anxiety and bulimia.
Kee has not played this season and the club released a statement in July to say he had not reported back for pre-season training for "personal reasons".
He spoke openly about his struggle with severe anxiety and depression in an interview with BBC Sport in 2018.

"Billy would like to thank everyone for their ongoing messages of support," Stanley said in a statement.
"Over the summer he has deteriorated and has been unable to return to play football for the Reds this season.

"He is currently under specialist treatment and the club is doing what it can to support Billy, who has been an integral part of the side both on and off the pitch for a number of years."
The 28-year-old, who represented Northern Ireland at under-19 and under-21 level, has scored 74 goals for the League One side since rejoining them from Scunthorpe in June 2015.
Endeavoring to persevere since 1965 (8-1 home win against QPR)

Well done to David Artell. If Crewe beat Cambridge on Saturday then it will be their best start in 70 years. It's currently their best start in 24 years.

An archetypal lower-league centre-half who was thrown in at the deep end to manage a club he'd previously played for, after a couple of years as academy manager. Well, well.

Crewe weren't happy and wanted him gone... the football was aimless and they were inconsistent. Bloke called Steve who works in my building runs one of their supporters clubs in Manchester.... he said to me when Dempster was appointed, let him see what he can do after 2-3 years as he'll know the club well and know the kids coming through.

No chance of us going down, and with a good run we can do anything this season towards that top group. Artell has fixed their squad and got a couple of their own coming through playing regularly, will be interesting to see if they can keep it up. Very Similar to Frank Lampard at Chelsea, but he's being forced to play kids because of the transfer embargo.

Demps start might not be great but stay within touch to give himself time and he could do wonders eventually

The problem for JD is that JR and the fans expect him to deliver promotion with our expensively assembled squad after our near misses in the last two seasons under Steve Evans and DF. The latter lost his job after finishing 4th and losing in the play offs on penalties. Even people in the media usually start off by saying something like "surely this will be Mansfield's season to go up". The fans have signed up for "Project Promotion" and we are all eager and anxious for success.

David Artell's brief at Crewe has been just to keep Crewe in League 2 on a mid to lower playing budget and bring through their young players although their own Chairman has started to question the wisdom of that strategy as they are not making enough money from player sales.

If some of our fans think that JD does not show enough passion then they should listen to some of David Artell's post match interviews  although I enjoyed the interview he did with D3D4 last season.

It is quite rare that we have 4 managers in League 2 this season with Mansfield Town connections:

Northampton Town - Keith Curle
Walsall - Darrell Clarke
Crewe Alexandra - David Artell
Cambridge United - Colin Calderwood

Are there any other former Stags on the back room teams?
