Wonder if any games will get called off this time around? Will probably rest on Sweeney or Shaughnessy getting a full senior call. In the meantime here are a selection of Stags who were called up by their country while at the club . . .

missed Jefferson Louis
Louis represented Dominica in a 2010 World Cup qualifier against Barbados in March 2008, which Dominica lost 1–0. Louis played up front with his cousin Richard Pacquette in this match

the CHAD list is supposed to be a selection of 11 players, not the complete list.
If you want the complete list, I've updated my list here. I think it is complete, but if I've missed anyone let me know

I recall going to Kettering Town FC for an England C international game where new signing Neil Moore captained the England side.
Does that count?
Didn't Louis Briscoe and/or Lindon Miekle also play for England C too?

Perhaps an additional note required for Emlyn Hughes in your list? I believe he joined Mansfield but never played a game.

Wasn't it the same for Des Walker?

I don’t think so.
I believe Emlyn Hughes was registered as a player but never played, but I think Des may have just trained with the team.
So if you look at their Wikipedia EH lists MTFC as a club but DW does not.

I would have assumed that European Cup 1968 Man of the Match John Aston (Man U v Benfica) who played for us during our one and only season at level two would have represented England at Junior or U21 level but apparently not.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

If the list includes Keith Curle and Carlton Palmer (who managed Mansfield but never played for us?) then presumably Billy Bingham should be added too?
He played for NI 56 times, including in the 1958 World Cup.

Don't we have this conversation at least once a year?
Next on the agenda, the greatest Stags XI.

The criteria for these things is always having made an appearance, which Emlyn didn't do.

Are there any capped players who have played as a trialist but didn't sign?
Sorry for that question and I realise it must be a nightmare to research

I can't immediately think of any. Only league and cup games count in the records, so you'd have to go through every non-competitive game to answer definitively which I can't imagine anyone will ever do.

What kind of lunatic would go to a match like that?
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

I haven't got that data, I don't collect it.
