The fact there is no comment in there from Dempster leads me to think there will be other face coming in.

Info from Leeds fan is that he was bought from Reading as one for the future, has had a injury which stalled his progress but Bielsa is said to see him as someone who will break into the first team more consistently

We can have Beckenbauer at the back but it won't make a jot of difference while MacDonald and Fraser Tomlinson are in midfield

Defence has looked poor so far and we always needed an extra centre half for cover if continued playing 3 at the back.

A Leeds fan of mine says he’s pretty decent.

6ft 4 too so will add some height at attacking set pieces too.

As Chris Wilder recently said in a post-match interview, players shouldn’t get applauded for giving 100%, that should be a minimum requirement week in week out.

No no, we are Mansfield fans and the only thing we care about is effort. Quality is not required as long as you run loads.

I see he has played in the same team as Ryan Sweeney for Ireland u21’s

I suppose it is good you know someone when you come to a new club, just like Dapo.

We welcome him and happy he wants to come to us and hope he provides something to change the current malaise we are in.
Strange again that we sign centre back and striker when midfield is weak weak weak but appreciate JR stumping up the cash again.!!

Now there is a manager for success in Chris Wilder, u never know when he is near retirement he might take a shot at the job here as a last pay day lol!

Says on his Wikipedia that he can ‘also operate as a centre midfielder’.

Maybe that’s why he’s been brought in, if he can do either.

Given you said on another thread that your daily diet is chips, pizza and cheap Spanish lager I would be willing to bet it’s more likely this bloke plays centre mid than you look like George Clooney, Spanish Stag.

I really do get the clooney stuff , but thats my point anyone can edit wikipedia ,hope he is a good young gun ,tis a critical point in our season ,we either stand firm ,or we waver ,i think we should stand firm , demps was an appointment with risks ,we all knew that ,so lets stick it out ,promotion would be great ,but stability is better

Problem with this is we need defensive cover and midfield cover. The lad can only do one or the other.

Conor looks to be a right footer so he will probably be competing to play on the right or in the middle of a back three.

Hopefully his distribution will be better than Matt Preston and Ryan Sweeney's and he will also bring the ball out of defence and look for a pass in true Moore/Beckenbauer/Madeley/O'Leary fashion.
