Wrong angle to see the tackle. My instant reaction, nearly level with that was, that it wasn't a sending. My reaction is it still wasn't a sending (ref didn't have a great angle, it appears that their player didn't get clean contact on the ball, which seems Preston might have got a bit of the ball and he didn't leave the floor).

It most certainly was a straight red, ignore the previous yellow as irrelevant.

Logan to blame for the second goal.

So much of liability that he was part of the best defence in the league last season.

Second goal looks even worse than it did live.

Now I’ve seen it again it’s a brilliant ball from Ellison for their second goal, but Conrad was too hesitant again. What a ball from Macca for Rose goal.

Spot on. The ball floated in by Macdonald was inch perfect. But in my opinion he had a terrible game. All huff and puff, trying to play hollywood balls. Certainly didnt contribute enough for a central midfielder in a 442. He was causing Bishop to be dragged all over the shop

I know. Some of the comments on here make me smile.
Immense all last season, but one bad decision / game this season, so let's forget all that, make out he's crap and shoot the lad.
That's the spirit.

Macca basically got us two goals today. his first shot fell to Maynard to tap in and he assisted the second with a great cross

I think we could potentially say this for the first goal as well.

Got to agree with that, but can’t just blame Logan in that instance. Lost the ball too easily on our right, excellent ball across and Pearce either has to get something on it or be on his man there, he gets totally caught out. Then Logan is in just as bad a position at the end.
First goal we need to be closer to the rebound off of Pearce, he goes down which causes the space to get in behind but they had two free on the far side we needed to cover the ball in.

I thought the Pearce was still affected by being knocked out on lead up to first goal by his poor positioning for the second goal.
I was surprised KP got up at all. He went down as if a snippet had got him.

Macca is not a central midfielder not sure why managers keep playing him there.
We missed Melli’s and Bish didn’t turn up today
I still think we are a midfielder short within the squad, unless Tomlinson steps up and makes one of those places his own

The problem for me with the first goal was that we had everyone back defending the corner, no actually let me expand on that further. The problem with the first goal was that we had everyone back and all of them INSIDE the box defending the corner, when it got cleared we had no one to close down that player and the rest is history, we didn't learn from that and defended the next corner exactly the same.
It's just my opinion, I tend to think it allows the opposition to keep the pressure on you.

Imagine the purring on MOTD over the Macca/Rose combo for our second goal if Man City or their other darlings Liverpool had scored it.

They 'purred' over Norwichs forward interplay, then ripped them apart for the players and managers 'naivety'????
