That's blasphemous.

not true
Incredibly true. But Rose does have the work ethic of a thousand Tyler Walkers so I could be so very wrong on this one.
Better footballer, maybe, more useful player certainly not... Hemmings is another one of these 'modern' forwards who think jumping for the ball is not his job or something he should at least try and do.

Not sure where he would fit in but would certainly add some quality to the squad.

could be decent as a number 10 attacking midfielder. he seemed raspberries hot at Bolton but has gone off the boil since leaving

True. Would be useful when we're playing 3-5-2 with a man in behind the front two. Some competition for Otis.

Delicate one either way.
Not to mention what impact a rejected bid may have on the player. CJ seemed effected by the speculation in January and we all know what happened to Danny Rose after the Peterborough saga. If the money is decent, it may be worth cashing in.

Dempster has faith in Rose.I fully expected Cook would start alongside Maynard. We have good competition for places all over the pitch now.If a player lets their standards slip they will be replaced.I expect Sinclair, Smith and Knowles to get some game time this season.

I think it's clever from Dempster. If he'd sidelined Rose from the start, he may have lost him for good. He probably knows Cook will be good when he comes in so it's better to give Danny a chance early and try to regain his confidence.

and goals breed confidence for strikers, thankfully Danny has got a goal in the first game of the season which is just what he needed. and he knows he will have to perform well to get a starting place over cook, and vice versa for cook. he needs to be hot on the heels of Maynard and rose if they have a poor run of form

Depends who scores the goals in the games they play I guess, it's tough when you've got three good strikers and you're trying to keep them all happy.

Why, if the Premier League is run by such level headed bastions of management is the transfer deadline day repeatedly such a circus.
Surely conducting your business in private and with decorum would set a much better example to the game in general. Or does the money awash at that level bring out the worst in these so called ‘leaders’.

He's (Cook) a fringe player whilst not in the 1st team imo. What's difficult to grasp ?

It’s great having both Cook and Rose imo. Most teams would be happy with that.

Genuine question. How much have you seen of Cook in league games this season ?
Every man thinks meanly of himself for not having been a soldier...
