Would say that a fiver a month isn't bad for the amount of games it covers plus all the vids. I find it worth paying for just having some passionate commentary rather than a pretty standard summary from the beeb.

Yet you think it's unacceptable that po' folk aren't will to pay £25 to watch a game of 4th Div footy down at the Mill.

Ignore it Sneag, it’s a constant thing from Spiro. Anything the club does he finds a negative and reverts to the “doesn’t help us poor folk out”. Ifollow is an excellent service, especially for fans who cannot get to the games, it’s not all about you.

Notts County n Bury have a good offer on.......

Floodlights at Bury going cheap

Signage at County Oldest football league club in the world going very very cheap due to it being out of date.

I see several folk have quoted a cost of £5 per month. Was that last year's rate or is it different for overseas subscribers?
I can currently get an "early-bird" rate of 130 euro a year, but there is no indication of how long that price is available or what it would be once the early bird has flown!

For UK subscribers, iFollow is £4.49 per month or £45 per year.

For overseas subscribers, iFollow is 130 euros with an early bird rate of 110 euros.

Overseas early bird expires 5 Aug

As ‘tater would say ‘very disappointing news’

Mansfield 103.2 will again provide regular updates on the Stags’ league matches, both home and away, in the new season.

So no live commentary
Can we play Accrington Stanley every week.

It would make sense to sign up with radio Nottingham for live commentaries.

With the demise of Notts County and hopefully a successful season for us it would help us to get a wider audience.

to be clear, it doesn't rule out commentary, and on the other announcement it does not say iFollow is exclusive commentary. Hence clearly the same as last season that 103.2 can do commentary when they wish and they have the exclusive radio rights.

 Sorry 'updates' just a slap in the face for radio listeners when Stags are away. No prob with home games updates as I'll be there and there's ifollow for those who live miles away. Of course we'll be getting updates into the run chase at Cuckney  Gut wrenchingly disappointing news. Bit like Bullseye. ''Here's what you could've won. Oooh look FULL FREE TO AIR MATCH COMMO FROM THE BBC'. There's little wonder why we get little from t'Beeb nowdays and will have to wait for reaction after Slater's interviewed everyone plus the tea lady from Barrow v Notts.

Most on here have got they wanted... exclusive ifollow coverage for the already smug fans who'll blindly pay anything.
A handful of us on here (or maybe a silent majority?) think the club are taking us for a ride. How can anyone in their right mind think that not having free away coverage is actually good for the fans?
Plus this is not the first time the club have turned down Radio Nottingham coverage, so absolutely no wonder they give far more more coverage to County. Why wouldn't they?
I'm personally getting tired of the over-commercialism around football, huge player wages and ludicrous Division 4 gate prices, ifollow fees etc... you can only squeeze a lemon so much before folk start to look elsewhere. If we have a shocker of a season how many pay-on-the-day fans are going to stump up £25? I get the feeling that Notts County may the first of a series of a dominoes to fall

It really wouldn't. There's not many people out there who want to listen to Stags commentary sadly. The ones who are abroad or far away will pay as it's their only way to get involved but other people aren't going to care what we're doing if we were on the radio.

It’s less than £1 per week.

I think it’s good value

Mansfield Town Football Club is a commercial enterprise not a free charity to entertain people who do not want to pay for the priivalige of following them. Try going to the cinema and seeing if you can just watch the less popular films for free and see what they say. After all there will be loads of empty seats for those films and they will have to show them anyway so what harm would it do?

If you want entertainment then you have to pay, it really is that simple. The BBC obviously don't want to pay as much as Radio Mansfield for the same rights, so should the club turn the better offer down so that non paying customers can get a better service? No I don't think so either.

Also if the entrance fee is too much you have the right not to pay it but don't expect to get in for nothing and don't forget you can't sit at home and listen to full commentary for free either as the club have made a few extra bob by not selling to the Beeb at a knock down price.

Most league teams have BBC radio coverage for away games. We seem to be the exception. I think someone posted that the amount the BBC pay is a set amount. So why can't those who can't afford the away days have the benefit of radio coverage? It won't affect the amount the club gets at home games. Seems short sighted to me.

It's 90 pence a week for every single game, both home and away, with video highlights and occasional friendly videos thrown in too. I don't know what your vice is (if any) but round London way that's a mouthful of beer or mouthful of coffee. Seems like a small price to me.

The point being that Radio Mansfield have probably paid for exclusive coverage. You can't sell things twice so should go with the highest bidder.
