Typical early season friendly for me. Nothing much could be read into it. The established first team players had steady games, the youth players showed why they are on the verge of the first team squad, a definitive starting eleven could not be deduced after 90 mins and we looked as disjointed as a team being built ever does in its early stages.

Thankfully no alarms bells ringing.

Me and my dad were bemoaning the fact that the fixture was segregated seating when it didn't used to be.

It was then completely justified. Smoke bombs, idiots coming in boasting about not paying, not watching the game and leaving at half time. What's the point.
