County beat Ilson 5-0 and Nathan Tyson scored a hat trick.

But how many County fans left their principals at home and attended the ‘Alan Hardy cash only at the turnstiles’ game?

Makes a mockery of their ‘We are all County, aren’t we’ mantra they were spouting at the end of the season.

Look at Hemmings as a link up player and not an out and out striker, he's excellent in that role. Willingly runs the channels and has an excellent first touch, just my opinion, I think he'd be good for the squad. Just like to add, he'd most certainly have scored more goals than 'Danny fans favourite Rose'

Kane Hemmings and Enzio Boldewijn will be on massive wages and so they will not be in a rush to terminate their contracts at Notts County.

A club who are not paying those wages? Doubt they will want to stay around much longer!

Notts County FC Official Supporters Association

The players are being paid its the staff & outside workforce (like me) who aren’t being paid. The chairman was photographed in Lacoste spending money today which went down well!

So another one hundred thousand or so more matches and bucket rattling like that and County will be able to pay all their debts.
Credit to the supporters for trying. But it's Splish Spash I Was Takin' A Bath Hardy who should be on trial.

They are not going to consider leaving unless another club offers similar wages. Alternatively they might accept lower wages but for a longer contract.

However, if they fail to play well in the National League then their value will start to fall.

It's all about getting value for money. They are not worth considering if their wages are too high.

Their plight was brought up in Parliament during PM's questions today.

Desperate measures indeed.

What did they say?

Basically the local MP was wanting to know why it was in a mess and questioned what EFL and the National League where doing to save the club. She also mentioned that it was the oldest professional club in the world.

Why that should make a difference is beyond me.

Is she (MP) thick or what? It's in a flipping mess because the raspberry running the club couldn't sell ice cream on a hot day that's why.....

It’s a sad day when emergency fund gets topped up by £4K and it’s now richer than both the club and owner
