EFL Trophy

Thought there was a thread but cant seem to find it. In addition to Burton and Crewe, we've got Everton U-21s again in our group.

You mean, in a way, this one?

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=35568

Created for fixtures etc for this season/campaign (It's a sticky one at the top of the forum)

I'd not seen the draw owing to being at work so thanks for adding the detail/information :-)

A distraction we don't need. And please don't evoke 1987 anyone. Different time, different format, different circumstances.

Boycott this farce of a competition. If you are a true fan of 1st and second division teams you will not support this belittling competition. NO TO B TEAMS!

If a boycott is going to be noticed, it's better to support the Crewe and Burton matches vigorously but not the Everton match. I don't like the format at all, particularly the Under 21 element. I can't be bothered with the U21 matches,.
But it's a useful competition for the club, giving competitive game time for fringe players and bringing in useful prize money.
