One of the goals was an overhead kick which is doing the rounds on Facebook.

They won 8-0 against a very inexperienced Leicester under23 side while playing all there first team players.
I know after a great start he faded when playing for us, but he will do well for Lincoln.

Do you know the lottery numbers for tonight ?
Whats the lottery got to do with it ?

The lad has talent. The talent will be brought out of him on a regular basis, now that he has a permanent club.

He will mirror what Clucas and Kee did after they left us.

He might be right, but Clucas and Kee are two ridiculous comparisons considering one became a PL player and the other bagged a load for Accrington Stanley.

Grant will be found wanting when the league starts, already proved that at two league clubs

IMO Grant will flourish at Lincoln. They have plenty of ball winners to enable him to get on the ball and he will have players in front of him to play off and feed.

Not sure what that's got to do with it really as he did well for 6 months at Notts County & for the whole time he was at Luton.

He was in a County team that made the play offs like ourselves, and we all saw his free kicks and stuff on the highlights, but we didn't watch him week in, week out. He went to Luton and did nothing as far as I know. The few games I saw him in, he had that extra bit of class, but sometimes wanted to do a flick when a simple pass would have sufficed, and he certainly didn't do the dirty part of the game. He's fine if he's got players to carry him, but tends to go missing if he hasn't, it will be an interesting one at Lincoln.

In a confident winning team playing lots of attacking football, then I think Grant will do well. However, against a physical gritty team playing to snuff out passing and counter attack, then I suspect he might struggle.

Imo, he's a player that really suits certain matches, rather than perhaps a regular starter. Maybe in L1 he'll prove us wrong though?

To sum him up, there’s a player in there with bags of ability if the right manager can motivate him and play him in a system that suits.

Peterborough winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts, former Cardiff defender/midfielder Tyrone Duffus, Ilkeston striker Elliott Reeves and ex-Swindon and Partick Thistle striker Miles Storey are on trial at Carlisle.

I would have thought we might have had a look at Elliott Reeves seeing as he is playing down the road at Ilson.

Tom Eaves has been signed by Hull City. He's done well since he was released by Yeovil. I was surprised at the time he had been released by them as he always seemed to be a handful when I watched the 10 minute highlights on the internet.

He impressed me years ago when he was on loan at Bury and Shrewsbury. Seem to remember a few calling him a donkey around the same time.

I saw Reeves play a game for Notts County reserves against Newcastle U21’s & he didn’t do very well at all.

Dom Telford has joined Ryan Lowe at Plymouth. Do Bury have any players left?

It shows why it was a joke for them going up . Players deferring wages to get them over the line.

If they happen to scrape a team up they will be a certainty to get relegated or wound up .

Former loanee Adam King signs for Dundee Utd (I'm not sure Evans had ever seen him play)

As Bury have now said that their remaining 7 contracted players can leave, is it worth approaching Adam Thompson (26) who made 44 appearance for them at centre half last season?

Even in their time of crisis, there was a tweet which got quite a lot of support which said the only recent positive news is that Thompson is leaving. So with that, and having seen him play, I would say definitely not.

Someone at Bury still has a dark sense of humour as they tweeted this yesterday

I am trying to work out who is still left at Bury:

Adam Thompson
Callum McFadzean
Byron Moore (supposed to be joining Plymouth)
Neil Danns

One fan on their forum said that they got over the line in spite of their defence and not because of it.
