BBC RADIO NOTTINGHAM

There was anger at a meeting of staff & players today at Meadow Lane - directed towards owner Alan Hardy.

We understand that Hardy walked out of the meeting, after being quizzed about when staff & players would be paid...

I know we all think he,s a bit of a dickheard ,but the way they have all turned on him ,after calling him the best thing since sliced bread when they were in thr play offs ,it makes me sick ,the bloke went in with the best of intentions ,lost a good few quid ,and suffered humiliation ,if i were him i wouldn,t put another penny of my own money in ,and yes i feel sorry for the normal employees who are suffering

Even though the takeover with the Danes is I believe nearly done, you can't half thinking that it could still go horribly wrong.

Just heard that a few members of staff have been raiding the club and putting things on eBay to enable them to meet the cost of living.

Expect lots of wheel barrows minus wheels, gents incontinent pants and signs saying ‘Oldest Football League Club in the World’ to appear on eBay soon.

Heard that Hardy turned up for the meeting today in a new car which obviously alienated everybody there! Typical of the man!

They'll be wound up at the next hearing and th n bought for nothing... Or they'll fully go bust. One man's ego has destroyed a football club. I hope he looses everything he has.

Surprised no players have quit or the manager

For God’s sake Alan, pay them what you owe them. What you are doing is disgraceful. Blackmailing supporters to go to the game. They will be paying cash so it will be hard to audit numbers and ensure that the money will go to the unpaid staff. What about the revenue from pie and drink sales? Will Hardy donate that also or will that disappear into Ilkeston’s (Alan’s) coffers?

Any County fan, Ilkeston fan or neutral with an ounce of self respect, dignity and a sense of justice won't go near the place on Saturday!!

I’d be very worried if I’d invested in a season ticket.

If this is true then any sympathy for his predicament has now gone out the window,

Ilkeston Town supporters are also encouraged to use the ‘Notts County’ turnstiles

So they’re asking Ilson fans to support Notts, not their own club.

This money will then be shared among the club staff who need it most.

Who decides “who needs it most”?

From an official club website, this is very embarrassing. Probably more embarrassing than the “little Al” tweet

Doesn't Al want 6 Million for the club?

These Danes that own Football Radar aren't worth that much.... the company is worth about 3-5 Million, its not a massive company and I don't see them making county a top side that can challenge. If anything they'll just manage to keep them going, and with all the debt, I cant see them doing much with the club.

Bye bye county.

Technically wouldn't Hardy also be "unpaid staff" he needs it the most, in his own mind.

It’s also a consortium. My thought is that the dad has the connections, Football Radar want to do what Brentford do and they’re all chipping in.
