Tyrese Sinclair was superb, really like the look of him, as well as Noah Stokes who was really composed at the back.

Young Sinclair was head n shoulders above the rest tonight, beds to bulk up a bit though to start sniffing round the first team imo, great prospect though

I thought the right wingback Clarke had a solid game too, put some good crosses into the box and was very energetic.

Would be nice to see him and Sinclair involved with the first team occasionally.

What makes you say he is cocky? He made the Retford players look stupid all night, so I'm not sure what he would've learned.

I don't know if you were there ofim, but I don't think any of the Stags players were cocky and the Retford side where not over physical. In fact the most robust challengers and tackles came from one of our own. I shan't name him, but I'm sure you know who I mean ( nice to see he has the same enthusiasm for the game though ). :)

They were definitely more robust than us Andy, and add to that completely useless at football.

Maybe more physical than us yes, but not over physical. To say they were "completely useless at football", is unfair and insulting.

They put in at least three awful challenges. It may be insulting, but also completely true. They wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now.

Agree, Retford were poor, thought they’d have a bit more about them considering they were playing against the youth team. Once they got bored of being shown up by lads years younger than them they just resorted to fouling which is why they had to take Sinclair off as he was getting the most of it.

not all night . 68 minutes . It would have been less if their defenders could have got to him earlier . Experience is hopefully what he learned and he could be on the pitch for 90 minutes in the future.

I think you are making Retford sound a bunch of amateur thugs. Yes, there was a few harsh tackles from both sides. I can think of three from our captain which were equally as bad.

I'm sure these lads have played in more physical games.
