We are all behind you John and Carolyn and will be frank and say I was low after last season but perking up a bit now and the title is a good ambition but wont get carried away as all the other clubs thinking the same way and some of course have bigger resources than ours!!

What a great interview this guy is honest says as he sees it.....
People ask why DF was sacked because JR is an ambitious man he is a Mansfield lad who's supported suffered n watched Stags at different levels of the football pyramid.
His ambitions wealth focus and determination wants Mansfield Town running in the Championship with crowds of around 15k at home games.
Can you blame him for sacking DF ermmmmm NO we all want what JR wants I know this I've been part of JR road of suffering with the Stags starting watching them in 1974.......
Remember this behind every great man there is a greater woman

You started in 1974 and me in early 75. Can't remember much suffering for our first 5 years. In fact they were bloody magnificent.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

Interesting bit in the video about overnight stays and saying he blames himself for letting managers have too much of their own way.
Sounds like he wants to go back to basics and focus on the football. He’s chasing that title and is committed to getting it.
Excited!

A bit worrying in the video that he says he’s only seen Dempsters teams on a handful of occasions. Not really sure how that qualified Dempster for the job.
Hopefully it will be a masterstroke but it didn’t sound to me as if too much research into Dempster was done.

Apart from those that live miles away or who actually support another team, like Chumpy, I think pretty much all the contributors on this are regulars at Field Mill.

I doubt Radford watched many Flitcroft games before he came to us. Or Evans

So in your world JR should now be watching games with his next manager in mind in case JD fails?

To answer both of the above, yes. It's like going to a hairdresser but not knowing if they can cut your hair the way you want it cut.
It's slightly different with Flitcroft and Evans as they are experience managers with a track record.
