It's a football shirt for Christ sake. If you're over the age of 20 and still wear a replica shirt you need to have a word

Yeah we must be missing out on loads of potential new Spanish fans who would see the amazing new kit and not be able to resist flying over for a few games...

Don't be thick Jamie, I'm talking about Stags fans like myself who would've worn it on holiday but have already been therefore yet another missed opportunity.

So all you have to do folks to fit in with JLStag's fashion advice is buy the replica shirt but don't wear it until the following season.

Alternatively, you could ignore and wear whatever you want.

No, but I wouldn't have a go at anyone who does like to do that JLStag. Have a word with yourself about that pal.

I've never got the holiday argument. Surely people buying kits will buy them regardless of when they come out. People aren't just buying them to show them off on holiday. Not really a missed opportunity if people are getting them when they come back off the jollies anyway

You could just walk round the pool and tell everyone you're a Mansfield fan, save yourself £45 and not look like you're in a mid life crisis

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks overweight middle aged men wearing tight fitting footie shirts absurd.

Why are people seeking validation from JLStag or anyone about whether it's okay to wear shirts/official merchandise? As Musings said, if you want to wear it, then wear it.

As for the holiday argument Paris, it isn't one that I'd use, but I can see the logic...people go holiday clothes shopping and might spend £20/£30 on a top which they could have used towards a shirt if they were out. After which some may not be able to justify spending it again so to speak.

A sticker for a badge is cheap & nasty.

An embroidered one would just be nasty. ;)
